Decrease burnout. Strengthen teams. Empower communities.

Care providers carry an invisible weight—years of crisis exposure, emotional labor, and systemic pressure that erodes well-being and fractures connection. We call this Toxic Groundwater. The Human Solidarity Project helps individuals, teams, and institutions release this burden and rebuild authentic human connection.

We have been transforming lives and strengthening communities.

"This training was so genuine, so genuinely human, it just shows how much we all have in relation to each other as opposed to differences. Instead of pointing out how different we are from one another, it was a very healing way to bring us all together and humanize anyone no matter where you come from—it gets down to the root core of who we are."

The Crisis We Address

We support careproviders who are struggling with burnout and feeling disempowered as they care for society.

Toxic Groundwater

Years of emotional labor, crisis exposure, and systemic pressure create buried trauma and internalized stress that goes unaddressed.

Burnout & Disconnection

Care providers experience exhaustion, resentment, and withdrawal—damaging their well-being and their ability to serve.

Fractured Teams

Unprocessed stress spreads through organizations, creating conflict, communication breakdown, and diminishes psychological safety.

Eroding Trust

When institutions struggle, communities lose faith in the systems meant to serve them—which deepens human disconnection and disempowerment.

How We Create Lasting Change

The Human Solidarity Project is all about building human connection in care providers and change agents, empowering them to increase their emotional, psychological, and relational capacity so they can care for themselves and others under pressure.

→ Connected, thriving communities

Our Approach: Inside-Out Healing

We Start Within

Real transformation begins with personal awareness, self-understanding, and releasing the emotional weight we carry.

We Address Root Causes

We help people identify and process the Toxic Groundwater—the buried stress and unspoken pressures—that drives conflict and burnout.

We Build Lasting Change

Our approach creates sustainable transformation that ripples outward—from individuals to teams to institutions to communities.

Our Model: Sustainability Meets Mission

We believe transformative programs should be accessible to all organizations, regardless of budget.

Organizational Partnerships

We partner with organizations who invest in workshops, coaching, and consulting to transform their teams and cultures.

Pro-Bono Programs

Revenue from partnerships directly funds free workshops for organizations who could not otherwise access our programs.

Stories of Transformation

ODHS Douglas County

When HSP partnered with Oregon Department of Human Services Douglas County, they were facing communication breakdowns and staff burnout at all levels. Through our Creating Human Solidarity workshops and a 9-month integration process, we gave them tools to address negative habits and prevent burnout.

Outcome

Leadership reported significant transformational changes in communication and reduced burnout. As the Program Manager shared: "The HSP work is a touchstone we need to come back to time and time again. It's helpful to have the knowledge and training to recognize that behind every behavior is an unmet need."
